Sumikoto is a simple instrument with only one string on one board. It is also sometimes called "Ichigenkin", "Koto Koto", "Dokugenkin". During the Heian period, Yukihira Arawara (Awara no Yukihira), which was driven by the capital, put a thread on the wooden fragments on the beach, played it, and leaned it. It is famous. The beautiful tone is still enchanting people as a survey of Suma’s tradition, which is the birthplace.
